The price of dental care is a major concern for many patients when they consider consulting a dentist.
For this reason, in the interests of transparency, Studio Dentaire presents you with a range of prices for the most common treatments at our dental practice in Lyon, with details of our fees and the care we provide.
Below you’ll find the fees for our most common dental treatments.
An oral and dental check-up, covered by Social Security and your health insurance, will be offered before any treatment.
The treatment program we propose after the first appointment will, of course, be subject to an estimate.
The aesthetic assessment prior to any aesthetic treatment program such as veneers takes place in two 1h30 sessions, during which we discuss your expectations with you.
Reference photos and videos will be taken to establish a diagnosis and redesign your smile using Digital Smile Design, a software program that (among other things) allows you to preview the final result. A resin model will also be made from your teeth impressions, allowing you to “try on” your new smile before treatment begins. In this way, you’ll be able to project yourself all the more easily and validate the project with photos and videos.
All our porcelain and ceramic prostheses are made by renowned French prosthetists from European materials, with a traceability sheet for optimum follow-up.
Studio Dentaire applies the reimbursement rates set by the French Assurance Maladie. This only covers part of the treatment we provide. Some treatments, particularly those for cosmetic purposes, are considered to be outside the nomenclature and are not reimbursed by the French Social Security system. They may, however, be covered in part or in a lump sum by your mutual insurance company.
Assurance Maladie reimburses conservative dental treatment at 70% of the conventional rate. This covers scaling, cavity treatment, root canalization and tooth extraction.
Fees for dental prostheses (crowns, bridges, inlays) are freely set by your dental surgeon. Only a small proportion is covered by the Assurance Maladie. Here again, in certain cases, your complementary health insurance may offer you a package deal.
Fees can be paid by credit card, cheque or cash.
Treatments reimbursed by Social Security will be paid in full at the end of each session. Studio Dentaire uses Carte Vitale teletransmission to guarantee rapid reimbursement.
Because we realize that the dental costs of long-term treatment and prostheses represent a major investment, we suggest that you pay 40% of the sum at the start of treatment, 30% in the middle and 30% at the end.
We can also offer you a personalized payment schedule, so that you can pay in instalments. For example, we can offer you the option of paying in instalments using your credit card. Our care coordinator is there to inform and advise you, so that we can work out the best solution with you.
