The dental bridge is designed to replace a missing tooth. This dental prosthesis consists of a set of crowns supported by adjacent teeth, known as abutments. The result is both comfortable and undetectable, as the ceramic material reproduces the exact shade of the original dentition.
To fit a dental bridge, the abutment teeth must be strong enough to support the prosthesis. However, if the abutment teeth are not strong enough to support the prosthesis, a complete implant-supported bridge can be installed, replacing several teeth. The bridge can even cover the entire jaw.

Social Security now covers dental bridges at a cost of around 75 euros per crown. This reimbursement is supplemented by your mutual insurance company, depending on the plan you choose.
To help you plan your dental treatment and prosthesis fitting, Studio Dentaire offers two payment options: in three instalments, or according to a personalized schedule drawn up in advance by our care coordinator.
The installation of an implant-supported bridge requires three to five appointments. The initial check-up enables the practitioner to assess the general condition of your mouth and teeth, as well as the suitability of this type of prosthesis. He will also check that your bone density is sufficient for dental implants. If necessary, a bone graft will be suggested.
If necessary, the dental surgeon will extract the remaining teeth and roots. At the next appointment, under local anaesthetic, he or she places the titanium dental implants that will support future crowns. After a healing (or osseointegration) period of four to six months, you return to the practice to try on your bridge. Once the final adjustments have been made, a final consultation allows you to leave with your complete implant-supported ceramic bridge. Your bridge will last a minimum of ten years.
