Founded in 1999 by Dr Hervé Touati, a dental surgeon, our facility brings together a team of 3 practitioners and cares for a large number of patients in dental distress every year, thanks to tailor-made support for lasting rehabilitation.

Once upon a time, Studio Dentaire…

Located at 4 boulevard Eugène Deruelle in Lyon 3rd district, Studio Dentaire was created in 1999 when Dr. Hervé Touati, newly arrived from Paris, took over the practice that had been established there since 1970. His two predecessors had just retired, and the practice had been founded by the father of one of them at a time when Part-Dieu was not yet the business district it is today. After practicing for a time near Place des Terreaux, this professional chose to settle in this building, PDG Part-Dieu Garibaldi, which was the very first to be built in the district, long before the shopping center and Auditorium. The future proved his intuition right, and so it was in this historic location that Dr Touati established himself almost 30 years later, less than 200m from the Halles de Lyon Paul Bocuse. As the dental practice took on more and more patients, the premises gradually expanded, and a refurbishment took place in 2015, enabling better overall care. The structure now comprises 3 identical treatment rooms, an operating theatre, an X-ray room, a prosthetic laboratory, a sterilization room and a patio. Studio Dentaire brings together a team of 8 professionals dedicated to the well-being of patients: 3 dental surgeons, 3 assistants, 1 care coordinator and 1 medical secretary.

In particular, I’m carrying out research on augmented reality applied to cosmetic dentistry at the University of Geneva and the Faculty of Lyon 1, for which I work in parallel with my activity at Studio Dentaire.

Studio Dentaire is a registered dental practice. We are open from Monday to Friday, 9.15am to 6pm.
